AME members often connect face to face at regional and national events. But how can we keep the conversation going, even when we're not together? AME is committed to building and maintaining online social networking communities where members can connect, collaborate, share best practices and ideas and learn from each other. AME currently has five active social networking sites, all of which are kept up-to-date by volunteer members who serve on AME’s Social Media Council. Visit any one of them and participate in the conversations, review videos of award winning manufacturing companies, and access best practice presentations.
LinkedIn: AME hosts a LinkedIn group where lean professionals can collaborate, ask questions and meet others in their industry or region.
Twitter: Follow AMEConnect on Twitter. You'll receive a feed of current news tied to continuous improvement and association and event updates.
Facebook: AME hosts a page on Facebook; we posts photos of events, videos and news and links relevant to your industry.
YouTube: On AME's YouTube channel you'll find videos of recent events and videos about AME Manufacturing Award winners.
SlideShare: SlideShare is a tool used to post slideshows to a public forum (think of it as the YouTube of slideshows). AME posts presentations from recent events and white papers published by our members and speakers.
