Discover how lean should be applied to R&D and innovation creation. Hear about some key features of the creative process and the execution. Gain insights on how to engage people in a major change.

Lean thinking has not found the interest in R&D organizations or in companies trying to innovate their processes that it deserves. Hear how Goodyear found that there may be an even higher reward by applying lean to R&D and innovation creation processes than there is in manufacturing. Other myths refuted are that lean stifles creativity and that lean principles proven successful in manufacturing do not apply in an R&D environment. Goodyear releases 1,500 new innovative products globally every year and thanks to the lean initiative, they are all on time, on target and meet the business case. Learn how to apply lean thinking in an R&D or an innovation-creating organization and the principles with examples from the Goodyear transformation and other companies.

After retirement from Goodyear, after 39 years, Norbert Majerus formed his own consulting company, Norbert Majerus Consulting, to continue to share his extensive expertise about lean, operational
excellence, innovation, etc.
