DESCRIPTION

La-Z-Boy HQ AME EventIn this informative and interactive event, participants will learn how to connect and leverage their supply chain to maximize value. In the morning session, participants will get an overview of supply chain management and driving customer value and then participate in small group, interactive activities. In the afternoon, participants will tour La-Z-Boy's three year-old, eco-friendly global headquarters and learn about La-Z-Boy's history and its lean journey. La-Z-Boy supply chain leaders will outline next steps on their journey towards a world class supply chain and provide time for Q & A and opportunities to benchmark La-Z-Boy's progress.

PRESENTER

David J. Frayer, Ph.D. is director of executive development programs in the Broad College of Business at Michigan State University, where he leads a group responsible for design, development and delivery of executive and professional education programs and two executive education and corporate learning facilities (The James B. Henry Center for Executive Development in Lansing, Michigan and the Management Education Center in Troy, Michigan). In addition to these responsibilities, he also co-directs the annual Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Executive Seminar in June each year. Prior to assuming these responsibilities, Dr. Frayer was involved in The Global Procurement and Supply Chain Benchmarking Initiative, a third-party procurement and supply chain benchmarking effort involving over 200 companies worldwide. He received his Ph.D. in marketing, logistics and international business at Michigan State University and previously received his B.A. and M.B.A. in marketing from Michigan State University. Prior to returning to Michigan State University for his Ph.D., Dr. Frayer was part of a product development staff group at Ameritech Publishing, Inc. in Troy, Michigan.

Payment or purchase order must be received by the AME office five days prior to the event start date. If no payment or PO number is received, you will be asked to pay with a credit card or check at the event before entry.

Cancellation Policy: Enrollment fee less a $100 non-refundable registration charge will be refunded up to one week before the event. Substitutions may be made up to three days prior to the start of the workshop.
