Learn why joining an AME lean learning network (consortium) will speed up your lean transformation in a people-centric way. You'll gain insights on how an AME consortium works and how members share and receive ideas that go beyond using improvement tools alone. Also find out how seasoned practitioners act as mentors and facilitators to help members of the consortium solve continuous improvement challenges.
Ryan Mecham is the director of consortia for AME. Before coming to AME to create lean learning networks around the country, he spent several years as the Chief Operating Officer of Powerblanket. While there, the company was recognized with an AME Excellence Award in 2017 as well as the Utah Manufacturer of the Year award in 2015 from the UMA. Ryan assisted the UMA - Utah Manufacturing Association in organizing continuous improvement courses for Utah Manufacturers to learn from one another.
Anyone who currently participates in continuous improvement activities can benefit by attending, in particular, those in leadership positions, including supervisors, managers, and CI professionals.
Participants will learn why they should consider joining an AME lean learning network (consortium).
