Established in 2008, the AME Institute has been chartered as a 501(c)3 organization with the goal of providing scholarship funds for worthy students to attend AME’s annual International Lean Conference and experience such special events as the Lean Accounting Summit held in September 2009.
AME members need young men and women to be exposed to the Lean movement, to learn about the pursuit of excellence and consider the benefits of a career in manufacturing operations as they become the leaders of our manufacturing futures.
The AME Institute will also sponsor research on the latest state-of-the-art techniques for process improvements as well as academic research like the Government Procurement Accounting Study that is already underway.
For more information about the programs of the AME Institute, contact Ken McGuire, Chairman or Ralph Keller, Treasurer. Donations to support the scholarship and research programs of the AME Institute are always welcomed. Contact Jodi Talley, Director of Marketing and Communications, for additional details.

Welcome to LeanROI
Join us at www.leanroi.org as we identify and explore the factors that make Lean initiatives more successful and sustainable by achieving and documenting hard financial returns. Initial funding for LeanROI is provided by The AME Institute.
