Highlights

This interactive workshop will help you to understand and apply the powerful hoshin kanri approach to strategic planning and execution. Engage in hands-on application of hoshin kanri to accelerate your own professional development.

Overview

Learn how highly successful companies, such as Toyota, P&G and Xerox, use hoshin to develop and execute on their strategic vision and goals. The key advantage of this approach is ensuring alignment of the high-level vision down to the daily activity level. Unlike typical strategic planning, hoshin also emphasizes execution to achieve the strategic goals through identification of key activities, regular monitoring of progress toward targets, and responding to gaps to achieve the desired results. Gain insights into the basic concepts of hoshin kanri, then will practice applying it to your career development goals. On completion of the workshop, attendees will have built their own hoshin strategic A3 outlining their vision, goals and plan for execution, and will have actionable takeaways on next steps to apply lessons learned.
