DESCRIPTION

In this two-day, in-person workshop, you will learn about continuous improvement (CI) and operational excellence (OpEx) principles and the roles and responsibilities of lean champions.

The workshop will focus on high performance teams, lean and six sigma for senior and middle managers who are held responsible for the CI/OpEx journey. The program will cover the fundamentals of lean, theory of constraints, six sigma and how those tools will improve team performance. The program will also cover sustaining the lean journey and Green Belt assessments.

PRESENTER

Joe Barto

Joe Barto is the founder and president of TMG and an expert in building and maintaining high performance teams including leader identification, training and development, talent acquisition and retention systems, workforce risk analysis and lean six sigma. Barto holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy and a master’s degree in public administration, organizational theory and leadership. He is a former US Army Cavalry Office and a Combat Veteran. Barto is a recognized expert in technology assisted learning, implementation, program management and is a published author. He has been facilitating dream team workshops since 2004.

You can become an AME member during the registration process for $150 per year and obtain the discounted AME member rate for this event. Your membership will also entitle you to a registration discount for all future AME conferences, seminars, workshops and webinars for one year.

Payment or purchase order must be received by the AME office five days prior to the event start date. If no payment or PO number is received, you will be asked to pay with a credit card or check at the event before entry.

Cancellation Policy: Enrollment fee less a $100 non-refundable registration charge will be refunded up to one week before the event. Substitutions may be made up to three days prior to the start of the workshop.
