Thursday, Oct. 27 Location Code
1:30pm-2:30pm Dallas Ballroom B, 1st floor ThP/50
Highlights

Learn how to help managers visualize, articulate and execute a plan to meet goals and objectives; discover tools and techniques that have effectively served multiple organization types; hear how a lean management systems (LMS) approach enables cross-functional team alignment both horizontally and vertically.

Overview

Lean practitioners need to insure that their breadth and depth of LMS execution links to the other management systems of the organization. Understand how you can broadly develop and execute a lean management plan that links with your finance and governance systems in order to reap the benefits of a more effective LMS. Using a hoshin kanri methodology, learn how to create a working sample relevant to your business environment. This hoshin kanri model, along with the paired use of a steering committee process, will demonstrate the translation and execution of business strategies into LMS-based initiatives with executable tactics. By demonstrating alignment to the organization’s strategic plan, learn how to develop an infrastructure needed to sustain and build a lean culture. This sessions will provide managers and personnel with an approach that enables them to tailor their plan to meet their business needs.
