Learn about Illumina's hoshin kanri journey through x-matrix development.

Hear how Illumina has taken a cross-functional approach to strategy deployment through the utilization of the x-matrix. This cross-functional x-matrix deployment has allowed the company to achieve alignment at every level of the organization, overcoming its historical challenges of siloed efforts, competing priorities, and duplication of efforts.

Illumina is a leading developer, manufacturer, and marketer of life science tools and integrated systems for large-scale analysis of genetic variation and function, enabling studies that were not imaginable a few years ago, and moving us closer to the realization of personalized medicine. With rapid advances in technology, it is mission-critical to offer solutions that are not only innovative, but flexible, and scalable, with industry-leading support and service. Illumina strives to meet this challenge by placing a high value on collaborative interactions, rapid delivery of solutions, and meeting the needs of its customers.
