Overview

Join AME and host Paul Aker for the next highly rated 2 Second Lean tour series!

The 2SL approach is like Mentoring on Steroids for companies who are interested in developing their people.

Andrew Henry, founder of Henry Holsters, will give a tour of the following areas:

  • Bay 1 - our design, CAD/CAM, 3D printing and CNC metal machining area that includes our tooling crib, inspection/QC, 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers, and our dual spindle Doosan CNC lathe.
  • Bay 2 is our fulfillment area, with our inventory racking, pick/pack/ship stations, and our lean packaging workflow built around our own customer software, which we call Shipster Pro.
  • Bay 3 is where all of our holster components and holster shells are produced in a workflow that includes several CNC machines, pneumatic presses, edge buffing/finishing stations, and hardware kitting and assembly benches.
  • Bay 4 is the newest portion of our building, having been added on in 2025, and contains our mechanical room (air compressors, etc) as well as our small fab and welding area for internal projects and improvements.

This event is part of AME's 2 Second Lean Tour series hosted by Paul Akers, author of the book "2 Second Lean" and owner of FastCap.

Host Company

Henry Holsters designs and manufactures premium holsters under our own name, serving everyday carriers, law enforcement, and professional end users with products built for durability, comfort, and consistency. Alongside our in-house lineup, we’re also an OEM manufacturer for other holster brands, and we produce holsters, knife sheaths and magazine carriers for several partner companies. In the last couple of years, we’ve expanded our capabilities into machining metal parts, allowing us to support a broader range of components and projects with the same precision standards. Our customer base and partners around the globe, and we’re actively building a growing network of authorized dealers to better serve customers worldwide. Presenter

Andrew Henry is the founder of Henry Holsters, where he’s blended old-world craftsmanship with modern problem-solving since starting the company in 2009. Trained as a classical violinist and educated in violin making, he brings an eye for precision to designing durable, practical, and comfortable concealment gear. Outside the shop, Andrew has invested deeply in his community: he was the first teacher at what is now Cedars Christian School and currently serves on the school’s board. On occasion he pulls out his violin to play at church, but most often you’ll find him on the electric guitar or bass when playing with the church band. He and his wife, Kaitlyn, are the thankful parents of five children.
