Happy World Smile Day!
October 2 is World Smile Day, which seems like a pretty good excuse to stop for a minute and smile.
And speaking of smiling, we are getting SO close to the AME Milwaukee International Conference and I am more excited about having our AME family together again.
For me, that is what our conference is really about. Yes, we are going to talk about Lean, continuous improvement, AI, supply chains, leadership, enterprise excellence, and all of the other things we care about.
But the BEST part of AME is the people. That is why this year's theme means so much - People First, Progress Together.
And speaking of people…or, more accurately, dogs, if you are staying at the Hilton Milwaukee, be sure to say hello to Millie and Sadie, the hotel's very special animal concierges.
I have a feeling they may get more attention than some of us do!
They are a pretty good reminder that sometimes the best thing you can do for someone is simply make them smile. So, on October 2, smile at somebody. And when you get to Milwaukee, bring that smile with you!
