The manufacturing world is changing at a pace none of us can navigate alone. AI, reshoring, workforce challenges, supply chain disruption, tariffs, new technologies, the list keeps growing. But one thing has not changed. It is that the best ideas still come from people who are willing to share what they have learned with one another.
That is where AME is different.
We don't just talk about excellence. We bring practitioners together to experience it, question it, challenge it, and take it home. Sometimes the most valuable thing you take away from an AME event isn't a new tool or a new process. It is a conversation with someone who has already faced the problem you're trying to solve.
And sometimes, you realize that the person sitting across the table isn't just a colleague. They are someone who can become part of your journey.
PEOPLE FIRST, PROGRESS TOGETHER. That isn't just our AME Milwaukee 2026 International Conference | October 26–29 theme. I believe it is what AME has always been about and what our industry needs now more than ever.

I wanted to share some sad news that our long time AME volunteer Doug Grischow from Ontario, Canada passed away on September 3. Doug volunteered with AME for over 20 years. Thank you, Doug, for your service to our community. Please keep Doug and his family in your prayers.
