Are you coming to the AME International Conference in Milwaukee?

If so, one of the best parts of the conference isn't just the keynotes, the tours, or the workshops - it's the people.

Maybe you'll meet William Harvey, our 2026 Conference Chair, whose passion and leadership have helped shape an incredible experience.

Yes, and… maybe you'll meet Jon Colby, our keynote speaker and master of ceremonies, who will inspire, challenge, and energize us throughout the week.

Perhaps you'll reconnect with one of the MANY amazing volunteers who have dedicated decades of service to AME, giving their time and talents to strengthen our community and help others grow.

Or maybe you'll meet one of our newest Emerging Leaders Program graduates—the next generation of leaders who bring fresh ideas, curiosity, and enthusiasm to the profession.

And then again...maybe you'll run into an old friend you haven't seen in years.

Like Burgess Oliver,  AME’s former Champion Club Executive Director.

Burgess shares  “you just don’t make friends in the US at AME. You make friends around the world. You see manufacturing processes and human leadership from their perspective and build a network of practitioners. You grow personally, provide benefits to your companies and create friendships that last for years. Some of mine go back 30 years.”

Burgess added, “My employees and I attended AME events and visited over 250 businesses over our 30-year history with AME. We were featured in several manufacturing magazines. Many of our AME members have been promoted to higher positions within their organizations because of AME.”

Or perhaps you'll meet someone you've never met before—someone who shares your passion for continuous improvement and eventually becomes your next mentor, customer, business partner...or simply your new best friend. That’s the magic of an AME conference.

For more than 40 years, AME has been bringing together people who believe that operational excellence begins and ends with people. Every conversation over coffee, every plant tour, every networking event, and every shared learning experience creates opportunities to build relationships that last long after the conference ends.

So, are you coming?

We hope to see you in Milwaukee, where we'll share ideas, learn from one another, celebrate excellence, and continue building a community that inspires people and transforms organizations.

As always, please stay safe and keep looking out for one another.
