Larry Anderson is GBMP's Certified Shingo Institute workshops facilitator in the Southwest United States. He is SME Lean Gold Certified and serves as a Shingo Prize Senior Examiner.
Anderson has over 40 years of manufacturing experience, and has been an examiner for the Shingo Prize since 1999. He brings both a strong management and manufacturing shop floor background to the GBMP team, and has extensive experience as a Lead Examiner for the Shingo Institute. Additionally, he personally assisted two recent Shingo Institute Medallion recipients.
A people-oriented leader with a bottom-line focus, Anderson possesses exceptional motivational skills that come across both in the classroom and on the front line. He is a registered professional engineer with a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Texas Tech University and pursued graduate level work in engineering management at The University of Louisville. He is past chair of the Oversight and Appeals Committee for SME/AME/Shingo Lean Certification and president of AME Southwestern Region.
