The HON Company facility in Cedartown, Georgia first began production in 1969 as the first manufacturing location for HNI Corporation outside of Iowa. Over the past 50 years, the facility has expanded to 560,000 square feet, making more than 500 products in the desk, filing cabinet and office chair categories. HON is the largest industrial employer in Cedartown and one of the largest in Polk County with more than 650 members employed. The plant has an approximate annual economic impact of $85 million on the local area.
