See lean applied in a very large machine shop that produces highly complex precision turbine engine components. The multiple CNC machines all have identical setups, making worker flexibility easy to accomplish. On this tour, you will see standard work implemented at all machining centers and how the identical machining centers allow for quick changeovers, POUS and 5S. The company utilizes numerically controlled machines and employs computer-aided design technology. It is ISO 9002 certified and employs more than 120 people.
