On this tour of Abox Packaging's production facility, the company will highlight its journey to consolidate from a five plant/warehouse environment to a new facility with a 110,000 square foot production floor and one additional finished goods warehouse. It will provide an overview of the decision-making process, efficiency studies and other factors that supported the physical move and goals for company growth. You will learn how custom packaging is made and how small changes in efficiency can improve the bottom line.

Company

Abox Packaging is a family-owned packaging company founded in 1975 and purchased in 2004 by Keith Thompson. It is an ESOP company and has been fortunate to retain craftspeople who are experts in their field and continuously looking for ways to innovate processes in packaging. Abox has grown from $3 million to $15 million in revenue over the last 18 years. It manufactures custom folding cartons and litho-laminated and rigid packaging for a diverse client base in the luxury, health and beauty, med/pharm, industrial, consumer product and telecom spaces, among others. www.aboxpackaging.com
