Description
Dale Crownover (2nd generation) will share his common sense, easy approach to running a successful small business in a very complex, unstable economic environment. Dan Crownover (3rd generation) will share how Texas Nameplate Company (TNC) is adopting new technology opportunities and working with workforce millennials. The TNC facility is a state-of-the-art design and continues to evolve to include new methods, technology and lean manufacturing concepts to meet and exceed customers’ evolving needs.
TNC has deployed a paperless operating system and implemented rejuvenation of acids, reclaiming of solvents and recycling of water in operations. In addition, strategic decisions to purchase or build new equipment with improved production methods continue to allow Texas Nameplate to sustain and exceed performance metrics on its real-time dashboard and expand its customer base to include key competitors. Simply put, nameplate manufacturing is not the same as it was 75 years ago when the company was founded. The challenges, opportunities and practices continue to evolve, and TNC is thriving. Come see and hear how the company is doing this and where it plans to be when it reaches the 100-year milestone. Ask questions and learn—the TNC team is happy to share! Safety glasses are required and will be provided by the tour host.
Please note the tour site will provide the required safety glasses to tour participants.
