This tour will show the standard work and daily employee problem-solving meetings and how these tie into the semi-annual Value Stream Analysis events.

Overview

The cycle then continues at Mission Control, where the VSA starbursts are turned into actionable projects / Kaizens taken on by teams to find solutions. The final stop in the cycle occurs at the weekly scrum meeting, where teams review actual financial results to verify that the activities have the expected financial impact. In addition, this tour will share some of the cultural measures used to ensure their behaviors and activities are simultaneously generating a culture change within the plant and training center. Finally, teams review how they acclimate new employees to learn and measure key skills.

Please note: Personal identification is required. Tour site will provide steel-toed shoes and safety glasses. To avoid clip-on toe covers OSHA ASTM approved shoes are recommended. Socks are mandatory. Longer than shoulder length hair must be pulled up.
