Presenter: Mike Osterling

Mike Osterling is president of Osterling Consulting, Inc., with 30+ years of leadership experience. Prior to consulting, he worked at Schneider Electric for 18 years and guided the lean transformation at several plants. He is one of the founders of SDSU’s Lean Enterprise Certificate program (1999) and continues to teach there. Osterling has a BS in production and operations management and an MBA in international business. He is a certified trainer for the Implementation of Lean Manufacturing (UK), an SS black belt and co-authored the Shingo Prize-winning book "Value Stream Mapping: How to Visualize Work and Align Leadership for Organizational Transformation," as well as "The Kaizen Event Planner."
