Creativity within constraints: Team-driven product and process development

Using MFD (Manufacturability for Design™), 3P and 2P to drive engagement and creativity in an event-based development process
OVERVIEW
Join David Coyle and Jacqueline Richard to discover how Re:Build Manufacturing is revolutionizing product development by integrating Manufacturability for Design™ (MFD), Production Preparation Process (3P) and Process Preparation (2P). Learn how these methodologies drive cross-functional engagement, spark creative problem-solving and ensure manufacturable innovation.

The presenters will share how Re:Build embeds lean thinking directly into the development process, transforming traditional silos into collaborative innovation. Through real-world examples, participants will see how MFD principles, linked to cycles of 3P and 2P events, have transformed collaboration among customers, engineers and manufacturing teams. Discover how this approach harnesses collective creativity to unlock design innovation that supports manufacturing excellence while accelerating time to market and reducing waste and complexity.
Key Learning Objectives
1. Discover a process that puts manufacturability in the front of the development cycle.

2. How event-based development supercharges collaboration and engagement.

3. Techniques that promote engineering innovation when constrained by manufacturing guidelines
