The principles of lean manufacturing with live simulation is the first step to learning the principles of lean manufacturing. This workshop is a mix of classroom and live simulation – no previous experience required. Attendees begin by manufacturing simulated circuit boards in a traditional manufacturing setting. The results of the first simulation round will provide the setting for continuous improvement applying lean manufacturing principles.

Rodney Reddic has over 25 years’ experience of progressive operations, engineering and plant management in addition to consulting in diverse industries from manufacturing to health care. He spent the past 10 years providing consulting services to TMAC customers through lean deployment, process improvement and facilities layout. He has proven ability to achieve sustainable results through the deployment of the Lean Management System. Reddic received his BSc. degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a lean six sigma black belt and is SME lean bronze-certified. 
Brandon Phoenix has more than 20 years of experience in operations management. He has performed numerous lean transformations and lean six sigma projects, as well as project management. Phoenix has a bachelor of arts degree in operations management. He is certified in lean bronze, TS 16949 and ISO. He is a lean six sigma black belt, a Shingo examiner and a Quality Texas/Baldrige examiner.
