- People-centric leadership
Resilient leaders don’t just bounce back — they lead forward. In this interactive workshop, participants will explore the 3 C’s of Hardiness from Dr. Steven Stein’s book: Commitment, Control and Challenge — three powerful traits that drive strong, adaptable leadership.
Attendees will learn how to apply these principles to real-world workplace situations, especially in times of uncertainty or change. Through guided reflection and group activities, leaders will identify their own hardiness strengths, practice reframing challenges, and explore ways to stay grounded and focused under pressure.
In this session, Brannan and Stebbins will explore how hardiness shows up in their own leadership style and offer strategies to strengthen team resilience through intentional mindset shifts.
Key learning objectives:
- Clarity on your personal hardiness profile and how the 3 C’s (Commitment, Control and Challenge) show up in your leadership style
- Tools to reframe stress and adversity as opportunities for growth, using the challenge mindset
- Practical ways to build/influence a more resilient team by modeling hardiness behaviors and creating a culture of shared ownership and purpose
Perfect for leaders and team members who want to build lasting resilience — for themselves and their teams.
Interactive components:
Will include a short self–assessment as well as a team building (tower building) activity where they will face some unexpected changes/challenges while trying to achieve “success."
Making the best better, one choice at a time. The A-dec vision began with a simple idea: make the best better.
From its simple beginnings, A-dec has emerged as one of the most respected names in the dental industry. In 1964, founders Ken and Joan Austin made the biggest choice of their lives: risk it all to start a company of their own. Little did they know that an invention and a dream would help revolutionize the world of dentistry.
60 years later, A-dec is an employer of choice and the world’s leading manufacturer of reliable dental operatory equipment. The company continues to work for the betterment of dentistry. That’s why it embeds its values into the work its employees do every day. One choice at a time. www.a-dec.com
