Overview
Learn how to apply pull-based flow not just on your shop floor, but also with your customers and suppliers. We’ll explore how to get a complete end-to-end view to handle variability—not just with production, but with demand and supply as well. The facilitators promise two things: (1) you’ll get hands-on with LEGO bricks—and trust me, it’ll stick with you! (2) You’re going to have fun! Discover how companies like PPG, Coca-Cola, LVMH, Michelin, and hundreds more are using these strategies with amazing results in service levels, inventory management, and lowering stress.
Key learning objectives
1. Learn how to build adaptive Kanban systems for production, distribution, and purchasing.
2. Go beyond theory—walk away with practical tools and insights you can apply at work right away.
3. Link Lean activities directly to your bottom line and P&L to help win over top management support.
4. Discover how to stabilize production planning and clearly communicate priorities across all teams.
Interactive components
This isn’t just a workshop—it’s a “playshop” designed to get you hands-on and fully engaged through role-play simulations. You’ll plan, source, manufacture, deliver, and even recycle, all while actively improving these processes. By observing, analyzing, and experiencing it firsthand, you’ll gain a deep understanding of the benefits of end-to-end pull-based flow. Whether you’re in a make-to-stock or make-to-order environment, you’ll see how this approach works in both settings.

Kevin has 30+ years of experience in supply chain and manufacturing planning and has worked with over 400 companies globally. He is a guest lecturer at Warwick University (Warwick Manufacturing Group) (U.K.), Hull University (U.K.) and Hong Kong’s PolyTech University on logistics and operations management (LOMs). Boake’s mission is to help clients achieve operational excellence and competitive advantage by implementing DDMRP, a planning method that combines MRP, Lean, TOC, 6Sigma and control point scheduling.
After discovering DDMRP principles back in 2013, applying them, and winning the famous French award “King of Supply Chain” when he was plant manager, Laurent Vigouroux decided to dedicate his time and energy to spreading this supply chain methodology around the world. Vigouroux has now participated in over 50 demand-driven transformation projects and is the inventor of DDBrix, the DDI-compliant serious management game based on Lego bricks, used by 10,000 participants in more than 20 countries. Vigouroux’s motto is that if you improve at least one thing every day, by the end of the month, your processes will be stronger, and your results will be better!
