People first, purpose always: The Amerequip transformation tour
A human centered approach to lean, leadership and lasting results
OVERVIEW
At Amerequip, participants will gain an inside look at how the company is strengthening operational excellence through disciplined learning, structured communication and a renewed commitment to problem solving.
The tour begins with an overview of the company’s Toyota lean assessment journey, including how the assessment was conducted, the feedback received and the strategic direction that followed. Participants will then experience the tiered loop meeting structure in action, from Loop 1 on the production floor to Loop 3 with senior operations leadership. The focus will be on the flow of information that connects shop floor realities to corporate KPIs, creating alignment, transparency and accountability across the organization.
This provides a natural introduction to the AMQ operational game plan, a simplified and practical adaptation of hoshin kanri that guides long-term priorities without unnecessary complexity.
The tour will also highlight one of the company’s key challenges: developing consistent, scalable problem-solving capability. While gemba walks and action plans support day-to-day issues, the organization continues to advance its use of more rigorous problem-solving methods for complex challenges.
Participants will gain insights into the company’s progress and opportunities, with a focus on continuous improvement and shared learning.
