Release the Performance Already Inside Your Organization
Build a management system that makes continuous improvement stick

OVERVIEW
Maria Mentzer is co-founder of See to Solve with Steve Spear.
Toyota brings them in to help train its own Tier 1 suppliers in the Toyota Production System.
In this interactive workshop, you’ll get to experience for yourself the learning-by-doing approach they use to build that capability.
You’ll work through a real leadership case and a hands-on paper airplane simulation, learning by doing what it takes to build improvement into the way people work every day.
You’ll walk away with a practical understanding of how to unleash more of the performance trapped inside your organization.
Key Learning Objectives
1. See where performance gets trapped and what leaders can change to release it.
2. Build improvement through practice, feedback and repetition.
3.Create a management system that keeps people learning and improving without relying on a few experts to drive it.

Maria Mentzer is co-founder of See to Solve and has spent more than 20 years building continuous improvement capability inside complex organizations.
At Intel, Maria helped lead an operation to best-in-class performance, then helped scale those ways of working across the wider organization.
Today, she works alongside Steve Spear, helping leaders and teams release more of the performance already trapped inside their organizations. Toyota brings them in to help develop its Tier 1 suppliers in the Toyota Production System, and Maria has coached and facilitated improvement work across a variety of organizations across a diverse set of industries including apparel, government, healthcare, high-tech, pharma, and automotive.
Her work focuses on making improvement practical: building the routines, practice and coaching that allow organizations to develop the capability internally and sustain it over time.
Maria is an MIT Leaders for Global Operations alumna, with an MBA and S.M. from MIT.
