Rockwell Automation Tour: Connected factory tour, discrete automation
OVERVIEW
This close-up, on-the-line experience will showcase smart, connected manufacturing and related use cases, including vision AI, robotics, data- and systems-enabled front-line technicians, serialization and data-informed decision-making.
The low-mix, high-volume production line was constructed using contemporary digital twin engineering and design practices. The primarily discrete automation environment also features independent cart technology for advanced material handling.

REQUIREMENTS & RESTRICTIONS
Requirements:
- Leather like closed-toe shoes (No high heels)
- Long or short-sleeved shirt/blouse, long pants (no shorts, skirts, dresses)
- Safety glasses (tour site to provide)
- Personal identification
Restrictions:
- No Competitors: Siemens, ABB, Emerson, B&R, others.
- Photos: On request with permission of plant leader/ tour leader
Lunch: Will be served in the keynote room at the Baird Center.
Tour participants will depart from and return to the Baird Center. Conference participants are not allowed to arrive to/depart from a tour site on their own.
