Overview

Brainstorm with your peers - best practices and issues for problems that affect multiple departments. Every organization has things they do well and need to work on. This session will use a tool that will allow you to share your organization's strengths and weaknesses while collectively coming up with solutions.

Presenters: Fontana Coy / Mark Somogyi

Fontana Coy is a continuous improvement transformation coach in the Duha Center of Excellence. She is black belt-certified in the Duha Operating Systems Passport to World Excellence program, is the primary yellow belt facilitator for communication skills and green belt facilitator for facilitation skills. She has led over 20 external companies on the start of their CI journey. Coy holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the Asper School of Business majoring in international business and logistics/supply chain and business administration diploma from Red River College.

Mark Somogyi is the continuous improvement coach at Duha, training internal and external students as well as implementing sustainable CI programs in customer organizations. He has over 20 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing with specific training in the TCCS Toyota Production System and Canadian Manufactures & Exporters continuous improvement program. Prior, he was part of the leadership team at Russel Metals implementing CI and health and safety initiatives. Somogyi is master black belt-certified. He has an operations management diploma and is a certified life and executive coach trainer.
