Attendees will be required to complete a tour waiver form.

The tour of Freedom Center will take you through various manufacturing departments, including the newsprint warehouse, prepress, printing, inserting, palletization and the transportation docks. See how lean principles and methodologies have been implemented to help Chicago Tribune communicate metrics and goals and engage associates in the site’s lean journey. View a mix of modern automation along with traditional printing processes. Learn how the Tribune has taken on commercial business to keep the presses running.
