Marvin Klein is president of PortionPac Chemical Corporation, headquartered in Chicago, IL. After graduation from the University of Illinois he worked for the Ekco Products Company. He served as an Army Intelligence Officer during the Korean War and later entered the cleaning industry with Hild Floor Machine Company as marketing manager. He has worked with many national organizations in the cleaning, food service, and corrections industry to improve professionalism, safety, and recognition for cleaning workers. He is active in community organizations including the Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago and the establishment of Chicago's Kinzie Planned Manufacturing District. He has been on the boards of national organizations including the Child Nutrition Foundation, the Chicago Manufacturing Center, and the John Howard Association for Prisoner Rights. He was a presenter at the 2007AME annual conference in Chicago. His company will also be a presenter at the 2008 AME Annual Conference in Toronto, about "From Green to Lean to Gold."
