People and Culture virtual consortia kick off event
This interactive session will present the work of Juliana Salvadorinho related to what makes Gen Z different than many of the preceding generations. Considering generational differences as a spectrum of shifts, this session will present a basis for developing effective strategies that will work well for today and moving into the future. As a virtual workshop, there will be time to meet with other professionals to discuss current challenges with newer members to the workforce. In addition, small group discussions will be held to explore how leaders may want to shift their approach to work more effectively.
Juliana Salvadorinho, is a PhD researcher in Industrial Engineering and Management at the University of Aveiro and IEETA, in Portugal.
Research Focus: Her research focuses on formulating strategies to boost Industry 5 0 with an emphasis on the central role of the human being in the technological revolution.
Salvadorinho has received 24 academic recognition awards In addition to her specialization in Data Science Engineering, Juliana has invested in further training in microexpressions and body analysis. She collaborated with Cardiff University during her PhD and was involved in the Augmanity project, which resulted in the co-creation of a work motivation tool in partnership with Bosch, OLI and IKEA Industry. Juliana is an active member of the IEEE Society and EUROMA, reflecting her commitment to advancing collaboration across engineering and operations domains Passionate about people, she applies her expertise to solve real world challenges and contribute meaningfully to scientific and societal progress.
